Welcome to the Trail Life Troop DE-5510 Website!

"Loyalty is a feature in a boy's character that inspires boundless hope."
—Lord Robert Baden-Powell, Scouting's founder

Who we are...

The Trail Life Mission statement is to guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure.

In Troop DE-5510, we share this mission and our leaders are committed to each boy's success and focus on that goal in every activity we offer. We participate in monthly events and regular campouts, designed to help the boys grow and learn, all the while become independent in thought and deed.

We extend advancement and leadership opportunities for those that work hard and represent the values of Trail Life: purity, service, stewardship and integrity.

Greetings Trailmen and families!

Our first troop-wide Father-son campout in Lancaster, PA was a blast!
As planned, we camped at Susquehannock State Park for the weekend, where the Woodlands worked on their Sports & Fitness branch. The Navigator and Adventurers worked on their Outdoor Cooking badge and served as the cooks for the troop.
The highlight of the weekend, the 5-acre Corn Maze by flashlight at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm was quite a challenge, especially after a long day of hiking and other activities, but was a great time, nonetheless. We didn't beat the maze, but look forward to trying again in the future!

We're now looking forward to our next Hit The Trail event, riding on a steam train on the Wilmington & Western Railroad. November will have us back in the woods at either Blackbird State Forest or White Clay Creek State Park (depending on availability of sites).

We're looking forward to seeing you on the trail!
